Sorry, I didn't know quite what to name this or if this has been covered yet, but earlier today I was trying to farm Atadran for some materials for the benthic. I avoided other channels with people already farming him so I could stay out of their way. I settled on a channel, and went after him. I did about 90% of the damage, kept his aggro, and some guy just flies in, shoots him a couple of times, and the loot bag falls in front of HIM!
It didn't really help when he thanked me for the carry.
So my feedback is that obviously something is weird with how the system chooses where to drop loot bags. I've seen it happen with my pets as well (but of course they aren't as much of a concern as a greifer) where no matter how much damage I do, or who got the first hit in, or whatever, the loot bag will have a chance to drop in front of someone who didn't really do anything.
Is it a last shot type of thing? I just don't find that fair.
