Health and Mana increase.

Soemthing I'm a bit puzzeled by is temporary buffs increasing health and/or mana.
Why does it increase our "resource" but we have to fill it up. As an example, Dark Blessing gives a higher max HP pool, but we must spend quite some time to fill up the lifepool we gained. Another example are buffs from familiars, like Arachnid Soul which gives us 20% mana for 20 seconds, If I have to spend the time regenerating that mana I will have about 10 sec left of the buff, which makes it redundant.
This could be a really nice buff for Wizards to gain a bit more effective life with mana shield, or a priest out of mana to squeeze out a couple more heals, but at the moment it is completely useless.
When a Guardian use the health buff it has to be healed up by a priest, which again is a bit pointless, and if the guardian plays alone he/she have to either eat up or ignore the "lost" hp, which again is pointless because the buff is lost when mounted. And if a Guardian uses the same buff while mounted, how do they gain back the lost hp? They can't eat while mounted.

I think this needs some looking into.

At first I thought it was to prevent some sort of exploit to cancel a buff, only to reapply and get a form of heal. But I can't see any way of removing buffs, so this can't possibly be the case?
