Redundant Quest Completion Requirements

Have the game recognize when you've fulfilled the requirements of a quest so that, if fulfilled, you will receive credit for completion even if the quest was received after. Then all you have to do is talk to the quest-giver again and turn it in rather than do everything all over. It's redundant to essentially complete the quest, then be given the same exact requirements to do it again. I'm talking about quests like "tame this creature" when it's already on your list, or "attune to this crystal" when... you just did a couple seconds ago. OF course, I'm not referring to kill quests like "slay [this number] of [this monster]". That at least makes sense. I understand that these types of quests are to teach new players the ins and outs of the game, but for those who get it right away it's a big turn-off to the game to have to keep doing literally the same things over and over unnecessarily. Every MMO I've played already has this implemented: FFXIV, WoW, BDO, Dragon Nest, Vindictus, Monster Hunter Online, etc.
