In regards to scheduled content releases and PVP--
Earlier in the twitch livestream, GM CuddleWings was responding to questions about Rangers and mentioned that Rangers didn't come out in the Korean version until later releases, when player caps were higher... as if to suggest US and EU content releases would mirror the scheduling of Korean releases, and we wouldn't be able to expect the rangers until much later. This is obviously not the first time we've been led to believe that. Unless Nexon makes a big announcement, players have every reason to believe that's exactly what will happen-- Riders of Icarus will simply be translated into English from the Korean version over the course of the next year.
Logically, this leads players to the conclusion that since you already know when PVP content was released in Korea (just like Rangers), you must have some answer for when it will be released in the US. We want PVP content to be fast tracked ahead of other content releases, but you aren't even allowing us to engage in an honest dialogue. Instead of giving us a straight answer, you ask us to engage in the deception that there is not a timeline (which you've already admitted exists), and then repeatedly ask for suggestions on new PVP content... as if the game isn't already completed, as if PVP isn't already designed, as if a multimillion dollar company needs forum posters to design its content, and as if we aren't just waiting for you to translate the game.
For many players, this response is downright ****ing confounding. I know it is for me.
If content is mirroring Korean releases, and the Korean version is largely complete, then you already know what PVP content exists and when it will or can become available. None of the suggestions we send you will be implemented in the development of the game, if development is complete. Stop pretending development is more participatory than it is and start respecting us enough to have an honest dialogue.
We want this game to succeed. We want PVP content because players are hemorrhaging to other exciting titles without it.
1) Is it possible for PVP content to be translated and released earlier in the US and EU timelines than they were in Korea's?
2) Is there any upcoming content for EU and US players that hasn't already been completed and played in another country?
3) If not, is there any substantive reason for us to believe that you're asking for suggestions on PVP content because you intend to use them, and not because its a simple deflection tactic that makes us feel engaged in an already developed game's development?
