I hope I'm not the only one who feels that the Founders Pack are a little too far fetched in terms of price and collectability..
I'm not saying that it's extremely over priced but seems slightly unreasonable especially if you consider B+C.
Your FAQ basically says that in order to get the Icarus Pet: Fairy Queen Elquines you would need to buy both the B and C packs. which means you're expecting those people to pony up $132.98 in order to get the one item that is being intentionally excluded from what is suppose to be the highest tier complete pack that also limits your purchase of B if you purchased C first.
Not only is that a bit unreasonable, but other certain aspects personally rub me the wrong way.
Such as the title. One way that would have made buying B+C individually at least viable with a bit more incentive is by having different titles on each tier.
I'm fairly positive that the title bonus doesn't stack either.. so buying both B+C cancels out that portion for titles.
Another thing that bothers me is the fact that the premium is instantly activated upon character creation and written to say that it is for ONE CHARACTER ONLY. Hopefully it's account premium.
It would be much better if it were in item consumable form which allows you to pick when to activate it.
The last thing is the Founders Packs are listed for OPEN BETA.
Does this mean the game isn't even considered complete at that point?
Other games basically use HEADSTART meaning the game is released at that point.
Unless the 7 day headstart, then open beta, then release with no wipe. I don't see why have the "7 day headstart open beta/openbeta/release" to begin with.
If you want to use the 7 day advanced as a name reserve perk, the fact that it's OPEN BETA and not HEADSTART RELEASE is a HUGE difference especially if it will be wiped before launch.
You're cross promoting the game with your other games too.. so I don't see why you also can't offer concessions for your other games.
Atlas Reactor (Trion) offers bonuses on their other games.. as is Overwatch (Blizzard ) offering bonuses to their respective games as well.
Outside of the Pokémon-esque of capturing the mounts.. (which is more flexible than say horse taming on BDO).. I'm trying to justify the value placed on the bonus items being offered.
if you want to compare against those,
