Maybe have an option to be able to apply for a guild in game? Like you go to Hakain's Crossing and talk to the NPC and he gives you a pop up and you can write in the name of a guild and be able to apply to said guild and those that can invite in that guild will be able to go through the applications and select the people they like?
Probably something that might not be that easy to implement. Just a suggestion though.
