Hey everyone, I'm new to Riders of Icarus. I just heard about the game two days ago and finally got the opportunity to play it for a while yesterday. It was everything I had hoped for in a game centered around mounts. I even don't mind the mini game to tame them. I was brought up short however when I was told I ran out of room in my familiar storage and couldn't tame anything else. I was frustrated and a bit annoyed for a while that I had to purchase more room until I discovered that I could earn Ellun in game and I accepted settling in for a long grind if need be. Everything was great again until I learned that I could only have up to 30 familiars and pets combined when there are over 90 tamable creatures in the game.
There are four broad types of gamers and I fall under the category of Achievers. I want to be able to collect everything even if I have to pay in cash or Ellun's for the additional spots. I also think that familiars that become pets should have their own storage instead of taking up room for mounts. This seemingly minor detail has taken away a lot of the fun from the game I was thoroughly enjoying yesterday.
I post this fully aware that each class has mounts that are best for it, but as an achiever I want the option to collect and use everything.
