I'm not sure how it is for other classes, but as a Wizard I do find it kinda annoying how cast times and animations are in this game.
As an example; If I use Fire Storm then Inferno Meteor, often my cast gets cancelled because apparently the previous skill is still casting.
This is not obvious if I look at my character. The cast time has finished, and the animation is done. When this happens I have to select Inferno Meteor again, line it up so mobs get hit and this might seem like a small issue, but it really messes up with my rotation. Just this can cost you a second, which is a very big deal when you try to push max dps.
When we get some PvP action this gonna be a nightmare.
I would like there to be a skill queue so skills don't get interrupted. Often games let you queue up 2-3 skills and they will auto cast so long as you don't move if they have a cast time.
If this is not something the devs is interessed in, then you must let players cast a new skill as soon as the previous skill has finished it's channeling time. The way it is now, makes the playstyle, of the Wizard at least, feel very clunky.
